CANYON CREEK ~ Many Texas natural springs come from underground water such as this one did.

Suddenly there is a spring and it can be in the middle of nowhere such as a paved street.

Canyon Creek was in a very dry area in the rocky terrain of the hill country

so it was a pleasant surprise to happen upon it one day while hiking.
